On May 5, 2020, GOT7 member Jackson Wang flew to China to serve as one of the mentors of 'Street Dance of China 3.' After landing, he immediately placed himself in isolation to follow protocols regarding the prevention of the coronavirus.

In the social media site Weibo, he often shares snippets of his day to keep fans updated with his life.

In one of the earlier entries, he said, “I've returned to China and it's the second day of my quarantine so there are 12 days left.

“I heard from our director that this season will be incredible so I have to work hard during the practice.”

Throughout his isolation, he's been closely updating his fans regarding his health and what he's doing to keep himself busy, like washing his clothes, doing indoor exercises, and making sure he maintains his strict diet.

He even sent a Mother's Day message to his mom Sophia and a commencement speech for the graduating class of 2020 in the comfort of his hotel room because he couldn't go out.

By the 10th day, the Hong Kong-born rapper was in for a surprise when he received an unexpected gift from the medical staff that's keeping a close eye on him during the whole process.

Along with his food, they even penned him a short message saying, “We will be by your side throughout the 14 days.”

Yesterday, May 19, Jackson has officially ticked off all 14 days of his quarantine period but before leaving the premises, he made sure to properly thank the medical staff tending to him.

In a video shared on Weibo, the medical frontline workers shared a clip of Jackson signing autographs as a way of thanking them.

The netizen even described the star as “polite” because ”he signed autographs for me so many times.”

While another lucky frontliner shared that Jackson gifted him the weighing scale he's been using in the hotel.

But that's not all.

It was reported that Jackson left a handwritten note in his hotel room thanking all the staff who's working close by.

He wrote, “Throughout these 14 days, throughout the quarantine, despite the sufficient protective equipment, you risked your lives to the virus.

“All of you who have your own families, all of you who are still serving every single one of us, for the sake of us, willing to help us, protect us--you are our heroes.

“Even though you're doing the same routine every morning: measure temperature, serve meals, measure the temperature again, and then serve meals again. Yet you do all those things with love.

“You even greet every single one of us in quarantine with considerate words like, 'Why have you lost weight again today?' 'It's time to eat,' 'Time to measure your temperature,' I feel the warmth of your love in my heart every day.

“Most of you are waking up earlier than us to prepare everything and also rest late at night after completing your day-to-day tasks.

“I am just one of those people who are on quarantine and I believe you would have repeated the same process countless times already.

“I thank all the medical workers very much. You have worked hard. You work hard. I'm very grateful to have met you all.

“Thank you to our heroes, our medical workers.”

Jackson will mentor alongside EXO's Lay and UNIQ's Wang Yibo on 'Street Dance of China 3.'

Before the show, the three mentors have all been friends and have shared some pretty adorable interactions over the years.

'Street Dance of China' is a dance battle show which features teams led by celebrity team captains. In previous seasons, these captains will choose a dancer from a selection of contestants before facing off against one another in dance battles.

The third season of the program with Jackson, Lay, and Yibo is set to premiere in July 2020.
